18 oktober Uppsala - How to transform science into action

How to transform science into action – The role of WWF in achieving sustainable production and consumption of food.

SLU Future Food and the master programme “Sustainable Food Systems” welcome you to a lunch seminar 18 October.
How does WWF work to transform production and consumption of food towards increased sustainability? This presentation will focus on some of the tools that are offered by the organization. A good example is the Meat Guide, that was originally produced at SLU but resides within WWF since 2015. Examples from the work to transform companies in the supply chain will also be presented, as well as tools for sustainable diets.

Anna Richert has a degree in horticulture from SLU, and has worked all her professional life with sustainability issues in connection with food. From research on human excreta as fertilizers, consultancy on sustainable sanitation systems via climate certification for food to the work in the supply chain at WWF, she has a strong focus on systematic approaches and inclusion of stakeholders in the transformation processes.
