CHRISTMAS TIPS! It´s dinner time.

Christmas is approaching and we would like to share some advice about smarter planning for this year’s Christmas food. We asked Elin Röös, researcher and sustainable food production expert at the Swedish university of Agricultural Sciences, and one of the creators of the WWF Meat Guide.

The basic tip is to enjoy your food this Christmas, use the Meat Guide to select good products, eat more vegetarian and buy and prepare a reasonable amount of food:

1. It’s a good idea to fill out the Christmas dinner table with tasty vegetarian dishes.
2. Choose good meat. Christmas is a weekend with strong food traditions. See Christmas as a good opportunity to choose good products and eat well. It’s also a good idea to reduce your meat consumption during other parts of the year. If you are unsure about which meat to choose or if you simply want some inspiration, explore the Meat Guide.
3. Extravagance is not good for anyone. Watch for overconsumption. Buy, prepare and eat a reasonable amount of food so that you feel well and reduce food waste.

The WWF Meat Gudie-app is a guide to choose better meat and eat less of it.
