Our brand involves a number of values – values that you will experience in your encounters with us and in our actions, e.g. when we have been entrusted with supporting you as a researcher in bringing your research to the market. We have formulated these values as follows: Passion, Challenge and Additional Expertise.
The most important of these is Additional Competence. In order to successfully run a project aimed at bringing research to the market, and to possibly form a company, at least two skills are required: firstly specialist skills on the part of researchers, and secondly business skills. It is relatively rare for these two skills to be found in one and the same person – and that's why we’re here! We support the researchers through our Additional Business Competence!
The employee from SLU Holding who participates in a project in turn has many additional skilled personnel within our team and our networks. SLU Holding comprises experts with a background in industry, funding, entrepreneurship, startups and research. Our networks can provide advice on matters such as legal issues, IPR and innovation.
The other two values in our brand – Passion and Challenge – describe what it is like to work with us. We are enormously enthusiastic about what we do, and are passionate about seeing innovations be realised and benefit society. And we challenge and push you until your research moves in the direction of the market!
Our brand statement – Green innovations to life – is also our goal. We are working for an increased number of sustainable innovations that will reach society and make a difference to everyone’s life.
